CB DESIGN STUDIO

From a young age, Christy aspired to be an interior designer.  She has always been intrigued by how a space can elicit emotions—often without the occupants even being aware of their surroundings. Her aim has always been to cultivate a feel-good atmosphere in every project, whether designing a villa in the Bahamas or a welcoming two-story lobby; both can be equally inviting if executed well.

 

After obtaining a B.A. in Interior Design from Michigan State University, she honed her skills at prestigious hospitality design firms in Atlanta before starting her own venture CB Design Studio in 2008. Her in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry allows her to grasp its unique demands. Christy is adept at understanding client needs beyond their words fostering lasting relationships built on mutual respect.  She is renowned for her timeless designs, keen attention to architectural details, and exceptional sense of color palettes.

 

Christy currently resides in the Charleston area, where she enjoys beach walks with her yellow lab, Ella, and exploring this beautiful city.
